BrLXX διότι ἐκεῖθεν ὑδρεύονται πάντες οἱ κατοικοῦντες Βετυλούα, καὶ ἀνελεῖ αὐτοὺς ἡ δίψα, καὶ ἐκδώσουσι τὴν πόλιν ἑαυτῶν· καὶ ἡμεῖς καὶ ὁ λαὸς ἡμῶν ἀναβησόμεθα ἐπὶ τὰς πλησίον κορυφὰς τῶν ὀρέων, καὶ παρεμβαλοῦμεν ἐπʼ αὐταῖς εἰς προφυλακὴν, τοῦ μὴ ἐξελθεῖν ἐκ τῆς πόλεως ἄνδρα ἕνα.
(dioti ekeithen hudreuontai pantes hoi katoikountes Betuloua, kai anelei autous haʸ dipsa, kai ekdōsousi taʸn polin heautōn; kai haʸmeis kai ho laos haʸmōn anabaʸsometha epi tas plaʸsion korufas tōn oreōn, kai parembaloumen epʼ autais eis profulakaʸn, tou maʸ exelthein ek taʸs poleōs andra hena. )
