OET (OET-RV) Then he dispersed the people, every man to his own camp; and they went away to the walls and towers of their city. He sent the women and children into their houses. They were brought very low in the city.
BrLXX Καὶ ἐσκόρπισε τὸν λαὸν εἰς τὴν ἑαυτοῦ παρεμβολήν· καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ τείχη καὶ τοὺς πύργους τῆς πόλεως αὐτῶν ἀπῆλθον, καὶ τὰς γυναῖκας καὶ τὰ τέκνα εἰς τοὺς οἴκους αὐτῶν ἐξαπέστειλε· καὶ ἦσαν ἐν ταπεινώσει πολλῇ ἐν τῇ πόλει.
(Kai eskorpise ton laon eis taʸn heautou parembolaʸn; kai epi ta teiⱪaʸ kai tous purgous taʸs poleōs autōn apaʸlthon, kai tas gunaikas kai ta tekna eis tous oikous autōn exapesteile; kai aʸsan en tapeinōsei pollaʸ en taʸ polei. )
