7 And_drinks_served in/on/at/with_goblets of_gold and_goblets of_goblets [were]_differing and_wine of_royalty [was]_much according_to_bounty the_king’s.

6 Who he_had_been_taken_into_exile from_Yərūshālayim with the_captives which it_had_been_taken_into_exile with Jeconiah the_king of_Yəhūdāh whom he_had_taken_into_exile Nebuchadnezzar the_king of_Bāⱱelh.
7 And_he/it_was acting_as_guardian DOM Hₐdaşşāh that [is]_ʼEşttēr the_daughter uncle’s_his DOM there_[was]_not to/for_her/it a_father and_mother and_the_young_woman [was]_beautiful of_form and_fair of_appearance and_in/on/at/with_died father_her and_mother_her adopted_her Mārəddəkay to_him/it as_daughter.
8 And_he/it_was in/on/at/with_proclaimed the_edict the_king and_edict_his and_in/on/at/with_gathered young_women many to Susa the_citadel into the_hand of_Hegai and_taken ʼEşttēr to the_house the_king into the_hand of_Hegai [the_one_who]_kept the_women.
9 And_she_was_pleasing the_young_woman in/on/at/with_eyes_of_him and_won favour in_presence_his and_quickly DOM beauty_treatments_her and_DOM portion_of_food_her to_provided to/for_her/it and_DOM seven the_maids the_chosen to_assigned to/for_her/it from_palace the_king and_advanced_her and_DOM maids_her to_best of_the_house the_women.
10 Not she_had_told ʼEşttēr DOM people_her and_DOM kindred_her DOM Mārəddəkay he_had_commanded on/upon_it(f) (cmp) not she_will_tell.
11 And_on/over_all day and_day Mārəddəkay [was]_walking_about to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_courtyard of_the_house the_women to_know DOM the_welfare of_ʼEşttēr and_how was_it_done in/on/at/with_her.
12 And_in/on/at/with_came [the]_turn of_a_young_woman and_girl to_go_in to the_king ʼₐḩashəvērōshz from_the_end/extremity of_being to/for_her/it under_regulations the_women two_plus ten month[s] DOM thus they_were_completed the_days beauty_treatments_their six months in/on/at/with_oil the_myrrh and_six months in/on/at/with_perfumes and_in/on/at/with_cosmetics the_women.
13 And_in/on/at/with_this the_girl [was]_going into the_king DOM all that she_said it_was_given to/for_her/it to_take with_her/it from_harem_of the_women to the_house the_king’s.
14 In/on/at/with_evening she [was]_going and_in/on/at/with_morning she [was]_returning to the_house the_women second into the_hand of_Shaashgaz the_eunuch the_king [the_one_who]_kept the_concubines not she_went again into the_king DOM (if) he_delighted in/on/at/with_her the_king and_summoned in/on/at/with_name.
15 And_in/on/at/with_came the_turn of_ʼEşttēr the_daughter of_Abihail the_uncle of_Mārəddəkay whom he_had_taken to_him/it as_daughter to_go to the_king not she_requested anything DOM (if) DOM [that]_which he_said Hegai the_eunuch the_king [the_one_who]_kept the_women and_it_became ʼEşttēr bearing favour in/on_both_eyes_of of_all saw_her.
16 And_taken ʼEşttēr to the_king ʼₐḩashəvērōshz into the_house his/its_kingdom in/on/at/with_month the_tenth that [is]_the_month of_Tebeth in_year seven of_reign_his.
17 And_loved the_king DOM ʼEşttēr from_all the_women and_won favour and_approval in_sight_his from_all the_virgins and_he/it_assigned a_crown of_royalty in/on/at/with_head_her and_made_queen_her in_place_of Vashti.
18 And_he/it_made the_king a_feast great to/from_all/each/any/every officials_his and_servants_his DOM the_feast of_ʼEşttēr and_holiday to_the_provinces he_made and_he/it_gave present[s] with_liberality the_royal.
19 And_in/on/at/with_gathered_together virgins a_second_[time] and_Mārəddəkay [was]_sitting in/on/at/with_gate the_king’s.
20 Not ʼEşttēr [was]_telling family_her and_DOM people_her just_as he_had_commanded on/upon_it(f) Mārəddəkay and_DOM the_command of_Mārəddəkay ʼEşttēr [was]_doing just_as she_had_been in/on/at/with_brought_up with_him/it.
21 in_the_days the_those and_Mārəddəkay [was]_sitting in/on/at/with_gate the_king he_was_angry Bigthan and_Teresh two of_the_eunuchs the_king from_guarded the_threshold and_conspired to_lay a_hand in/on/at/with_king ʼₐḩashəvērōshz.
22 And_became_known the_plot to_Mārəddəkay and_told to_ʼEşttēr the_queen and_she/it_said ʼEşttēr to/for_the_king in/on_name_of of_Mārəddəkay.
23 And_investigated the_report and_found and_hanged both_of_them on a_gallows and_recorded in/on/at/with_book of_the_matters the_days to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_king.
3 after the_things the_these he_made_great the_king ʼₐḩashəvērōshz DOM Haman the_son of_Hammedatha the_Agagite and_advanced_him and_he/it_assigned DOM position_his from_under all the_officials who with_him/it.
2 And_all the_servants the_king who in/on/at/with_gate the_king [were]_kneeling and_paid_homage to_Haman DOM thus he_had_commanded to_him/it the_king and_Mārəddəkay not he_knelt and_not he_bowed_down.
3 And_they_said the_servants the_king who in/on/at/with_gate the_king to_Mārəddəkay why [are]_you transgressing DOM the_commandment the_king’s.
4 And_he/it_was in/on/at/with_spoke_they[fn] to_him/it a_day and_day and_not he_listened to_them and_told to_Haman to_see whether_tolerated the_words of_Mārəddəkay DOM he_had_told to/for_them (cmp) he [was]_a_Jew.
5 And_he/it_saw Haman DOM_that not Mārəddəkay [was]_kneeling and_do_obeisance to_him/it and_filled Haman rage.
6 And_thought_beneath in/on/at/with_eyes_of_him to_lay[fn] a_hand in/on/at/with_Mārəddəkay for_him/it_being_alone DOM people_had_told to_him/it DOM the_people of_Mārəddəkay and_he/it_sought Haman to_destroy DOM all the_Jews who in_all the_kingdom of_ʼₐḩashəvērōshz the_people of_Mārəddəkay.
7 In/on/at/with_month the_first that [is]_the_month of_Nisan in_year two_plus ten to/for_the_king ʼₐḩashəvērōshz someone_throw Pur that the_lot to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before Haman for_day for_day and_on_month of_month two_[plus] ten that [is]_the_month of_Adar.

9 If [is]_on the_king good let_it_be_written to_destroy_their and_ten thousand(s) talent[s] of_silver I_will_weigh_out on the_hands of_the_doers the_business to_bring into the_treasuries the_king’s.
10 And_took the_king DOM signet_ring_his from_under his/its_hand and_gave_it to_Haman the_son of_Hammedatha the_Agagite the_harasser the_Jews.
11 And_he/it_said the_king to_Haman the_money [is]_given to/for_you(fs) and_the_people for_doing in/on/over_him/it as_the_fit in/on/at/with_see_you.
12 And_summoned the_scribes the_king in/on/at/with_month the_first in/on/at/with_three teenth day in/on/over_him/it and_written according_to_all that he_commanded Haman to the_satraps the_king and_near/to the_governors who [were]_over province and_province and_near/to [the]_officials of_people and_people province and_province in_script_its and_people and_people in_language_its_own in/on_name_of the_king ʼₐḩashəvērōshz [it_was]_written and_sealed in/on/at/with_ring the_king’s.

15 The_couriers they_went_out hurried in/on/at/with_command the_king and_the_decree it_was_given in/on/at/with_Susa the_citadel and_the_king and_Haman they_sat_down to_drink and_the_city of_Susa it_was_in_confusion.
4 and_Mārəddəkay he_knew DOM all that it_had_been_done and_tore Mārəddəkay DOM clothes_his and_put_on sackcloth and_ashes and_he/it_went_out in_the_middle the_city and_cried_out a_cry loud and_bitterly.
2 And_went to to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_gate the_king DOM there_[was]_not to_enter into the_gate the_king in/on/at/with_clothed of_sackcloth.
3 And_on/over_all province and_province the_place (of)_where the_word the_king and_decree_his [was]_reaching mourning great among_the_Jews and_fasting and_weeping and_wailing sackcloth and_ashes it_was_spread_as_a_bed for_the_many.
4 And_came[fn][fn][fn] the_maids of_ʼEşttēr and_eunuchs_her and_told to/for_her/it and_distressed the_queen exceedingly and_sent garments to_clothe DOM Mārəddəkay and_to_take_off sackcloth_his from_for_him and_not he_accepted_[them].
5 And_she/it_called/named ʼEşttēr for_Hathach of_eunuchs the_king whom he_had_made_stand to_face/front_her and_ordered_him on Mārəddəkay to_know what [was]_this and_for what [was]_this.
6 And_he/it_went_out Hathach to Mārəddəkay to the_open_place the_city which to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_gate the_king’s.
7 And_told to_him/it Mārəddəkay DOM all that happened_him and_DOM the_exact_amount the_money which he_had_said Haman to_pay to the_treasuries the_king in/on/at/with_Jews[fn][fn] for_destruction_them.
8 And_DOM (the)_copy of_the_writing the_decree which it_had_been_given in/on/at/with_Susa for_destruction_their he_gave to_him/it that_show DOM ʼEşttēr and_to_explain to/for_her/it and_to_charge on/upon_it(f) to_go to the_king to_make_supplication to_him/it and_to_plead from_before_face/front_him on people_her.
9 And_went Hathach and_told to_ʼEşttēr DOM the_words of_Mārəddəkay.
10 And_she/it_said ʼEşttēr to_Hathach and_gave_amessage_him to Mārəddəkay.
11 All the_servants the_king and_people of_the_provinces the_king [are]_knowing (cmp) every man and_woman who he_goes to the_king into the_court the_inner who not he_is_summoned [is]_one law_he to_put_to_death to/for_except to_if he_holds_out to_him/it the_king DOM the_scepter the_gold and_live and_I not I_have_been_summoned[fn][fn][fn] to_come to the_king this thirty day[s].
12 And_told to_Mārəddəkay DOM the_words of_ʼEşttēr.
13 and_he/it_said Mārəddəkay to_reply to ʼEşttēr do_not imagine in/on/at/with_life_your that_escape the_house the_king from_all the_Jews.
14 DOM if indeed_(keep_quiet) you_will_keep_quiet in/on/at/with_time the_this relief and_deliverance it_will_arise for_the_Jews from_place another and_you and_family father’s_your you_all_will_perish and_who [is]_knowing if for_time as_this you_have_reached to_the_royal_position.
15 And_she/it_said ʼEşttēr to_reply to Mārəddəkay.
16 Go gather DOM all the_Jews the_found in/on/at/with_Susa and_fast for_me and_not eat and_not drink three days night and_day also I and_maids_my I_will_fast thus and_in/on/at/with_then I_will_go to the_king which not according_to_the_law and_as_which I_have_perished I_have_perished.
17 And_went_away Mārəddəkay and_he/it_made as_everything that she_had_commanded on/upon/above_him/it ʼEşttēr.
5 and_he/it_was in_the_day the_third and_put_on_robes ʼEşttēr royalty and_stood in/on/at/with_court of_the_house the_king the_inner in_front_of the_house the_king and_the_king [was]_sitting on the_throne his/its_kingdom in_house_of the_throne in_front_of the_entrance the_palace.
2 And_he/it_was when_saw the_king DOM ʼEşttēr the_queen standing in/on/at/with_court she_bore favour in/on/at/with_eyes_his and_held_out the_king to_ʼEşttēr DOM the_scepter the_gold which in_his/its_hand and_approached ʼEşttēr and_touched in/on/at/with_top the_scepter.
3 and_he/it_said to/for_her/it the_king what to_you Oh_ʼEşttēr the_queen and_what request_your up_to (the)_half the_kingdom and_given to/for_you(fs).
4 And_she/it_said ʼEşttēr if [is]_on the_king good let_him_come the_king and_Haman the_day to the_banquet which I_have_made to_him/it.
5 And_he/it_said the_king bring_quickly DOM Haman for_doing DOM the_word of_ʼEşttēr and_came the_king and_Haman to the_banquet which she_had_made ʼEşttēr.
6 And_he/it_said the_king to_ʼEşttēr in/on/at/with_drinking the_wine what petition_your and_given to/for_you(fs) and_what request_your up_to (the)_half the_kingdom and_done.
7 And_answered ʼEşttēr and_she/it_said petition_my and_request_my.
8 If I_have_found favour in/on_both_eyes_of the_king and_if [is]_on the_king good to_grant DOM petition_my and_to_fulfill DOM request_my let_him_come the_king and_Haman to the_banquet which I_will_make to/for_them and_tomorrow I_will_do as_said the_king.
9 And_he/it_went_out Haman in_the_day (the)_that joyful and_good of_heart and_when_saw Haman DOM Mārəddəkay in/on/at/with_gate the_king and_not he_stood_up and_not he_trembled from_him/it and_filled Haman towards Mārəddəkay rage.
10 And_controlled Haman and_went to home_his and_sent and_he/it_brought DOM friends_his and_DOM Zeresh his/its_wife/woman.
11 And_recounted to/for_them Haman DOM the_splendor wealth_his and_number sons_his and_DOM all how honored_him the_king and_DOM how promoted_him above the_officials and_servants the_king.
12 And_he/it_said Haman also not she_let_come ʼEşttēr the_queen with the_king to the_banquet which she_had_prepared DOM (if) DOM_me and_also for_tomorrow I [have_been]_invited to/for_her/it with the_king.
13 And_all this no_he [is]_adequate to_me in_all time when I [am]_seeing DOM Mārəddəkay the_Jew sitting in/on/at/with_gate the_king’s.
14 And_she/it_said to_him/it Zeresh his/its_wife/woman and_all friends_his let_people_make a_gallows high fifty cubit[s] and_in/on/at/with_morning speak to/for_the_king and_have_hanged DOM Mārəddəkay on/upon/above_him/it and_go with the_king to[fn][fn][fn] the_banquet joyful and_pleased the_advice to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before Haman and_he/it_made the_tree.
6 in/on/at/with_night (the)_that it_fled the_sleep the_king and_he/it_said to_bring DOM the_book the_records the_words the_days and_they_were [being]_read_aloud to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_king.
2 And_found recorded (cmp) he_had_told Mārəddəkay on Bigthana and_Teresh two of_the_eunuchs the_king from_guarded the_threshold who they_had_sought to_lay a_hand in/on/at/with_king ʼₐḩashəvērōshz.
3 And_he/it_said the_king what has_it_been_done honor and_distinction on_Mārəddəkay on this and_they_said the_young_men the_king attended_him not it_was_done with_him/it anything.
4 And_he/it_said the_king who in/on/at/with_court and_Haman he_had_come to_court of_the_house the_king the_outer to_say to/for_the_king about_hang DOM Mārəddəkay on the_tree which he_had_prepared to_him/it.
5 And_they_said the_servants the_king to_him/it there Haman [is]_standing in/on/at/with_court and_he/it_said the_king let_him_come.
6 And_came_in Haman and_he/it_said to_him/it the_king what for_doing in/on/at/with_man whom the_king he_delights in/on/at/with_honor_him and_he/it_said Haman in/on/at/with_self_of_him to_who will_he_delight the_king for_doing honor excess than_me.
7 And_he/it_said Haman to the_king a_man whom the_king he_delights in/on/at/with_honor_him.
8 Let_people_bring clothing of_royalty which he_has_worn in/on/over_him/it the_king and_horse which he_has_ridden on/upon/above_him/it the_king and_which it_has_been_put a_head-dress of_royalty in/on/at/with_head_its.
9 And_handed_over the_robe and_the_horse on [the]_hand of_a_man of_officials the_king the_nobles and_robe DOM the_man whom the_king he_delights in/on/at/with_honor_him and_lead_him on the_horse in/on/at/with_square the_city and_proclaim before_face/front_him thus it_will_be_done for_the_man whom the_king he_delights in/on/at/with_honor_him.
10 And_he/it_said the_king to_Haman hurry take DOM the_robes and_DOM the_horse just_as you_have_said and_do so for_Mārəddəkay the_Jew the_sits in/on/at/with_gate the_king do_not make_fall a_word from_all that you_have_said.
11 And_he/it_took Haman DOM the_robe and_DOM the_horse and_clothed DOM Mārəddəkay and_led_onhorseback_him in/on/at/with_square the_city and_he/it_called before_face/front_him thus it_will_be_done for_the_man whom the_king he_delights in/on/at/with_honor_him.
12 And_returned Mārəddəkay to the_gate the_king and_Haman he_hurried_himself to home_his mourning and_covered of_head.
13 And_told Haman to_Zeresh his/its_wife/woman and_to/for_all friends_his DOM all that happened_him and_they_said[fn] to_him/it advisers_his and_Zeresh his/its_wife/woman if of_people the_Jewish Mārəddəkay whom you_have_begun to_fall before_face/front_him not you_will_prevail to_him/it DOM certainly_(fall) you_will_fall before_face/front_him.
