Here Solomon speaks as if the bloodshed that Joab committed were a liquid that he had poured out on Solomon and the house of his father David, and he speaks as if killing Joab will remove this liquid from them. He means that the bloodshed that Joab committed causes Solomon and the house of his father David to be guilty, and that killing Joab will cause them no longer to be guilty. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use a comparable figure of speech or state the meaning plainly.
