Here, the word this refers to what Paul has said in [7:6–12](../07/06.md) about how the Corinthians treated Titus and how they responded to Paul’s letter. If it would be helpful in your language, you make the referent of this more explicit. Alternate translation: [Because of those things] or [Because you responded in those ways,]
