BrLXX Ἐκεῖθεν δὲ ἀποσπασθέντων σταδίους ἐννέα, ποιουμένων τὴν πορείαν ἐπὶ τὸν Τιμόθεον, προσέβαλον Ἄραβες αὐτῷ οὐκ ἐλάττους τῶν πεντακισχιλίων, ἱππεῖς δὲ πεντακόσιοι.
(Ekeithen de apospasthentōn stadious ennea, poioumenōn taʸn poreian epi ton Timotheon, prosebalon Arabes autōi ouk elattous tōn pentakisⱪiliōn, hippeis de pentakosioi. )
BrTr Now when they were gone from thence nine furlongs in their journey toward Timotheus, no fewer than five thousand men on foot and five hundred horsemen of the Arabians set upon him.
WEBBE Now when they had drawn off nine furlongs[fn] from there, as they marched against Timotheus, an army of Arabians attacked him, no fewer than five thousand infantry and five hundred cavalry.
