OET (OET-RV) Nehemiah and those who were with him called this thing “Nephthar”, which is by interpretation, “Cleansing”; but most men call it Nephthai.
BrLXX Προσηγόρευσαν δὲ οἱ περὶ τὸν Νεεμίαν τοῦτο Νέφθαρ, ὃ διερμηνεύεται Καθαρισμός· καλεῖται δὲ παρὰ τοῖς πολλοῖς Νεφθαεί.
(Prosaʸgoreusan de hoi peri ton Neʼemian touto Nefthar, ho diermaʸneuetai Katharismos; kaleitai de para tois pollois Nefthaei. )
