BrLXXκρίνων δὲ καταβραχὺ ἐδίδους τόπον μετανοίας, οὐκ ἀγνοῶν, ὅτι πονηρὰ ἡ γένεσις αὐτῶν, καὶ ἔμφυτος ἡ κακία αὐτῶν, καὶ ὅτι οὐ μὴ ἀλλαγῇ ὁ λογισμὸς αὐτῶν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα·
   (krinōn de katabraⱪu edidous topon metanoias, ouk agnoōn, hoti ponaʸra haʸ genesis autōn, kai emfutos haʸ kakia autōn, kai hoti ou maʸ allagaʸ ho logismos autōn eis ton aiōna; )

BrTrbut executing thy judgments upon them by little and little, thou gavest them place of repentance, not being ignorant that they were a naughty generation, and that their malice was bred in them, and that their cogitation would never be changed.


WEBBEbut judging them little by little you gave them a chance to repent,
