OET (OET-LV) by all prayer and petition, praying in every season in the_spirit, and to the_same thing, watching with all perseverance and petition for all the holy ones,
OET (OET-RV) Make your requests as you pray in the spirit at every occasion and similarly staying alert and persevering as you make requests on behalf of all the dedicated believers
διὰ πάσης προσευχῆς καὶ δεήσεως, προσευχόμενοι ἐν παντὶ καιρῷ ἐν Πνεύματι
by all prayer and petition praying in every season in /the/_Spirit
Alternate translation: “Pray at all times in the Spirit as you pray and make specific requests”
Note 1 topic: grammar-connect-logic-goal
εἰς αὐτὸ
to /the/_same_‹thing›
The connecting phrase to this end marks a goal or purpose relationship. The goal is what was just mentioned: to pray at all times in the Spirit. In order to do that, believers must be watchful and persevere in making requests for all the saints. Alternate translation: “for this reason” or “in order to do that”
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns
ἀγρυπνοῦντες ἐν πάσῃ προσκαρτερήσει καὶ δεήσει περὶ πάντων τῶν ἁγίων
watching with all perseverance and petition for all the holy_‹ones›
If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea behind the word perseverance, you could express the same idea with a verbal form. Alternate translation: “persevere in being alert, and pray for all God’s holy people” or “pray with constant alertness for all the believers” See the UST.
6:18 Paul contrasts purely mental prayer with prayer in the Spirit, prayer that arises from the Spirit of God within (see 1 Cor 14:15; Jude 1:20; cp. Rom 8:26-27).
• at all times and on every occasion: Believers are to make prayer a way of life and turn the whole of life into prayer (see Phil 4:6-7; 1 Thes 5:17)—not simply for themselves, but for all believers everywhere.
• Stay alert and be persistent: Because the danger of the devil is constant.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Greek words that they’re translated from.
