6.1 Permanebimus. Hoc perversi accipiunt ex illo: Ubi abundavit delictum, superabundavit et gratia. Hoc dicere est esse ingratos gratiæ. 6.1 Permanebimus. This perversi accipiunt from illo: Where abundavit delictum, superabundavit and gratia. This dicere it_is esse ingratos gratiæ. And because gratia viget, where delictum abundavit, not/no it_is permanendum in peccato, as quidam æstimant for mayori gratia. Non because peccantis merito, but subvenientis auxilio superabundavit gratia, where abundavit delictum. 6:1 Well then: Because Paul has just proclaimed that God multiplies grace where sin increases (5:20), he knows that people will wonder whether this means that sin does not matter in the Christian life.

Here, then indicates that what follows is a response to what Paul said in the previous chapter, especially what he said in 5:20. See how you translated What then in 3:1 and 4:1.

In this verse Paul is not asking for information, but is using a question to address rumors some people may have been spreading that misrepresent his teachings. If you would not use rhetorical questions for this purpose in your language, you could translate his words as a statement or an exclamation or communicate the emphasis in another way. Alternate translation: [Then we will say that we should continue in the sin so that the grace might increase!]

In this verse and the first part of the next verse, Paul is speaking as if he were a Christian who misunderstood what Paul had taught in the previous chapter.
