ULT And they were helped against them, and the Hagrites were given into their hand and all who were with them. For they cried out to God in the battle, and he granted their entreaty because they trusted in him.

UST God enabled the men from those three tribes to defeat the descendants of Hagar and all those who were helping them because the men from those three tribes prayed to God during the battles, requesting he help them. So he helped them because they trusted in him.
