44.17 Nœ inventus est, etc. Quando pereunte mundo diluvio reservatus est, ut pœnitentiam gentibus prædicaret, et exemplo demonstraret quod qui Deo devote serviunt, ab æterno interitu liberantur. Cum eo Deus pactum statuit, ne ultra perderet aquis diluvii omnem carnem Gen. 17..
