10:1 Note: KJB: Neh.9.38
OET (OET-RV) The ones who signed the document were: • Nehemyah the governor, Hakalyah’s son, and Tsidkiyyah.

(Some words not found in UHB: and=on/over=all this(f) we making binding_agreement and,writing and,on the,sealed leaders_of,our Levites_of,our priests_of,our )
Alternate translation: “These are the names that the leaders signed on the scroll before it was sealed.”

(Some words not found in UHB: and=on/over=all this(f) we making binding_agreement and,writing and,on the,sealed leaders_of,our Levites_of,our priests_of,our )
As in 7:65 and 7:70, this was the formal Persian title of the governor. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the title and then explain it. Alternate translation: “Nehemiah son of Hakiliah, the Tirshatha (that is, the governor)”
Note 2 topic: translate-names
נְחֶמְיָ֧ה & בֶּן־חֲכַלְיָ֖ה וְצִדְקִיָּֽה
(Some words not found in UHB: and=on/over=all this(f) we making binding_agreement and,writing and,on the,sealed leaders_of,our Levites_of,our priests_of,our )
As in 1:1, Nehemiah is the name of a man, and Hakaliah is the name of his father. Zedekiah is also the name of a man.
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
וְצִדְקִיָּֽה
(Some words not found in UHB: and=on/over=all this(f) we making binding_agreement and,writing and,on the,sealed leaders_of,our Levites_of,our priests_of,our )
This could mean the same man who is called “Zadok the scribe” in 13:13. That man seems to have been the official secretary for Nehemiah. Other documents from this time suggest that the name of the scribe would have come second in a list like this, right after the government official in charge. Alternate translation: “Zedekiah the scribe” or “Zedekiah the secretary.”
10:1-27 The eighty-four names included the governor: Nehemiah (10:1), and a group of priests (10:2-8; cp. 12:1-7), Levites (10:9-13; cp. 9:4-5; 12:8-9), and leaders (10:14-27; cp. 3:4-31).

OET (OET-RV) The ones who signed the document were: • Nehemyah the governor, Hakalyah’s son, and Tsidkiyyah.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
