OET (OET-RV) They got together and challenged Mosheh and Aharon, “You think you’re great but the entire community is sacred and has Yahweh among us, so why do you consider yourselves more important than Yahweh’s community?”
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
רַב־לָכֶם֒
great//chief/captain to/for=you(pl)
The Israelites are using Great to you as a common expression of their culture to mean “You take too much authority for yourself.” If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [You make much of yourselves] or [You take too much authority]
Note 2 topic: grammar-connect-logic-result
כִּ֤י
that/for/because/then/when
The word translated as For indicates that what follows is a reason for what came before. Use a connector in your language that makes it clear that what follows is a reason for what came before. Alternate translation: [We say that because]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / parallelism
כָל־הָֽעֵדָה֙ כֻּלָּ֣ם
all the,congregation of_them_of,all
These two phrases all of the congregation and all of them mean basically the same thing. The second emphasizes the meaning of the first by repeating the same idea with different words. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could combine them and express the emphasis in another way. Alternate translation: [every single one of the congregation]
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / rquestion
וּמַדּ֥וּעַ תִּֽתְנַשְּׂא֖וּ עַל־קְהַ֥ל יְהוָֽה
and,why? exalt on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in assembly_of YHWH
Korah and his followers are using the question form to express their disapproval and criticism of Moses and Aaron. If a speaker of your language would not use the question form for that purpose, you could translate this as a statement or as an exclamation. Alternate translation: [It is wrong for you to lift yourselves up above the assembly of Yahweh!]
Note 5 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
תִּֽתְנַשְּׂא֖וּ עַל־קְהַ֥ל יְהוָֽה
exalt on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in assembly_of YHWH
Here, the protesters are speaking as if Moses and Aaron could physically lift themselves up above the rest of the people. They mean that Moses and Aaron had claimed authority over the assembly. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [do you take authority for yourselves over the assembly of Yahweh] or [do you claim to be more important than the rest of the assembly of Yahweh]
Note 6 topic: figures-of-speech / possession
קְהַ֥ל יְהוָֽה
assembly_of YHWH
The author is using the possessive form to describe an assembly that serves or worships Yahweh. If a speaker of your language would not use the possessive form for this, you could express this idea in another way. Alternate translation: [the assembly that worships Yahweh]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
