OET (OET-RV) Isn’t it enough that you brought us out of a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us here in the wilderness, without also making yourself the ruler over us?
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / rquestion

Dathan and Abiram are using the question form to express indignation at Moses’ leadership. If a speaker of your language would not use the question form for that purpose, you could translate this as a statement or as an exclamation. Alternate translation: [You should not consider it so small that you have brought us up from a land flowing with milk and honey to kill us in the wilderness that you make yourself rule over us, also making yourself rule!]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
הַמְעַ֗ט כִּ֤י
[is,it]_small? that/for/because/then/when
The phrase Is it small that is a common expression of this culture that means “Do you consider it insignificant that” or “Is it not enough that.” If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. See how you translated the similar phrase in [verse 9](../16/09.md). Alternate translation: [Do you consider it so insignificant that]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
מֵאֶ֨רֶץ זָבַ֤ת חָלָב֙ וּדְבַ֔שׁ
from,a_land flowing_of milk and,honey
Here, Dathan and Abiram are speaking of Egypt as if it were a land actually flowing with milk and honey. This was a way of saying that it was a very fertile and productive place. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. See how you translated the similar phrase in [13:27](../13/27.md). Alternate translation: [from a land that is rich and fertile] or [from a land that is very productive]
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / reduplication
תִשְׂתָּרֵ֥ר עָלֵ֖ינוּ גַּם־הִשְׂתָּרֵֽר
master over,us also/yet to_master
Dathan and Abiram are repeating forms of the verb rule in order to intensify their expression of the idea that it conveys. If your language can repeat words for intensification, it would be appropriate to do that here in your translation. If not, your language may have another way of expressing the intensification. Alternate translation: [you make yourself rule over us completely]

OET (OET-RV) Isn’t it enough that you brought us out of a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us here in the wilderness, without also making yourself the ruler over us?
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
