BrTr So the children of Israel gave to the Levites in their inheritance by the command of the Lord the cities and the country round.
ULT And the sons of Israel gave to the Levites from their inheritance these cities and their pasturelands, upon the mouth of Yahweh.
UST So the Israelites obeyed this command from Yahweh. They gave some cities and the surrounding fields to the tribe of Levi out of their own lands that their leaders had assigned to them.
