ULTAnd from the sacrifice of the peace offerings he shall present a gift to Yahweh: its fat, the entire fatty tail (he shall remove it near the backbone) and the fat covering the innards and all the fat that is on the innards

USTAnd from your fellowship sacrifice, you should offer a gift to Yahweh. This gift should consist of all the sheep's intestinal fat, the entire portion of the tail fat (which you should cut off near the backbone), the caul fat that covers all the internal organs, and all the visceral fat that is attached to the internal organs.

3.9 Et caudam. LXX: Lumbum sine macula integrum, ne scilicet aliud offeratur Deo, aliud adversario. Sufficit enim huic ad veniam quæ virtutis sunt non agere; sin autem mala operatur, veniam non consequitur. Unde: Estote simplices sicut columbæ. Columbæ enim nimiam simplicitatem habent, malitiam nullam. Qui de bobus sacrificium offert, lumbum Deo offerre non eget: quem in bonis operibus constringit et exercet. Qui de capris immolat, non habet lumbum immaculatum quem offerat, quia eum olim peccato maculavit. Qui ergo non fuit in peccatis, immaculatum lumbum offerre potest, non qui peccator fuit. Hac causa in sacrificio pacificorum capras ab agnis distinxit.


3.9 And caudam. LXX: Lumbum without macula integrum, not scilicet something_else offeratur Deo, something_else adversario. Sufficit because huic to veniam which of_virtue are not/no agere; sin however mala operatur, veniam not/no consequitur. Whence: Estote simplices like columbæ.
