BrLXX εἶναι, ἵνα μὴ πρὸς τέλος ἀφικομένων ἡμῶν τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν, ὕστερον ἡμᾶς ἐκδικᾷ.
(einai, hina maʸ pros telos afikomenōn haʸmōn tōn hamartiōn, husteron haʸmas ekdika. )
BrTr lest that, being come to the height of sin, afterwards he should take vengeance of us.
WEBBE that he may not take vengeance on us afterward,[fn] when we have come to the[fn] height of our sins.
DRA Doth he also deal with us, so as to suffer our sins to come to their height, and then take vengeance on us.
RV that he may not take vengeance on us afterward, [fn] when we be come unto the [fn] height of our sins.
KJB-1769 Lest that, being come to the height of sin, afterwards he should take vengeance of us.
KJB-1611 Lest that being come to the height of sinne, afterwards hee should take vengeance of vs.
