BrLXX Τὸν δὲ φυλάρχην τῶν περὶ Τιμόθεον ἀνεῖλον, ἀνοσιώτατον ἄνδρα καὶ πολλὰ τοὺς Ἰουδαίους ἐπιλελυπηκότα.
(Ton de fularⱪaʸn tōn peri Timotheon aneilon, anosiōtaton andra kai polla tous Youdaious epilelupaʸkota. )

BrTr They slew also Philarches, that wicked person, who was with Timotheus, and had annoyed the Jews many ways.

WEBBE They killed the [fn]phylarch of Timotheus’s forces, a most unholy man, and one who had done the Jews much harm.

8:32 That is, probably, the captain of an irregular auxiliary force. Some write Phylarches, as a proper name.
