uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / yousingular

 וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֤ם & וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם & אֶתְכֶם֙ & אֶתְכֶ֛ם

(Some words not found in UHB: and,keep DOM all/each/any/every statutes_of,my and=DOM all/each/any/every ordinances_of,my and,do DOM=them and=not vomit_~_out DOM,you(pl) the=earth/land which/who I bringing DOM,you(pl) ~there,to to,live in/on/at/with,it )

Here, you is plural. They refer to the people of Israel, so use the plural form in your translation if your language marks that distinction.

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor

וְלֹא־ תָקִ֤יא אֶתְכֶם֙ הָאָ֔רֶץ

(Some words not found in UHB: and,keep DOM all/each/any/every statutes_of,my and=DOM all/each/any/every ordinances_of,my and,do DOM=them and=not vomit_~_out DOM,you(pl) the=earth/land which/who I bringing DOM,you(pl) ~there,to to,live in/on/at/with,it )

Yahweh forcibly removing the people from the land is spoken of as if the land itself vomited the people out. If your language has a similar metaphor, consider using it here. If not, consider using a generic expression. See how you translated this personification of the land in [18:25](../18/25.md). Alternate translation: [And I will not forcibly remove you from the land]

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / personification

וְלֹא־ תָקִ֤יא אֶתְכֶם֙ הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֨ר אֲנִ֜י מֵבִ֥יא אֶתְכֶ֛ם שָׁ֖מָּה לָשֶׁ֥בֶת בָּֽהּ

and=not vomit_~_out DOM,you(pl) the=earth/land which/who I bringing DOM,you(pl) ~there,to to,live in/on/at/with,it

Here, the land is describes as if it were a person who could vomit. Alternate translation: [the land to which I am bringing you will not reject you]

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

20:9-27 Because pagan worship affected ethics, the regulations for families follow immediately after those dealing with pagan religious practices. To some extent, the laws of this section replicate those of 18:6-30, which precede the section dealing with proper expressions of holiness (19:1-37). These were all related issues, as the proper worship of God led to proper conduct toward other people, while improper worship of God led to moral violations.
