uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / euphemism

וְאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִקַּ֛ח אֶת־אֵ֥שֶׁת אָחִ֖יו

and,a_man (Some words not found in UHB: and,a_man which/who marries DOM wife_of his/its=brother impurity who/which nakedness_of his/its=brother uncovered childless be )

See how you translated the similar expression in [20:14](../20/14.md).

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / euphemism

עֶרְוַ֥ת אָחִ֛יו גִּלָּ֖ה

nakedness_of his/its=brother (Some words not found in UHB: and,a_man which/who marries DOM wife_of his/its=brother impurity who/which nakedness_of his/its=brother uncovered childless be )

See how you handled the similar expression in [18:6](../18/06.md).

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

עֲרִירִ֥ים יִהְיֽוּ

childless be

Unlike the previous verse, in which a man who has sexual relations with his aunt is said to “die childless,” here both the man and the wife of his brother will be childless. These two expressions likely have the same meaning: both couples will die before they produce any children together. You could indicate this explicitly in your translation if it would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [They shall die and not have any children]
