אִשָּׁ֜ה דָּוָ֗ה
woman/wife menstruating
This expression does not refer to physical sickness but rather to a woman’s experience of normal menstruation. If this would not be clear to your readers, consider stating the meaning plainly. See how you translated the similar expression in [15:33](../15/33.md). Alternate translation: [a woman who is experiencing her normal menstruation]

The expression her flow and the fountain of her blood refer to a woman’s genitals during her normal menstruation. Similar to the euphemism “to uncover one’s nakedness,” uncovering a woman’s genitals during menstruation is thought to bring shame on both her and the man involved. If this would not be clear to your readers, consider stating the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [he has exposed her genitals during her normal menstruation and so shamed her, and she has uncovered the source of her genital bleeding and so brought shame on herself]

See how you translated the similar expression in [7:20])../07/20.md).
20:9-27 Because pagan worship affected ethics, the regulations for families follow immediately after those dealing with pagan religious practices. To some extent, the laws of this section replicate those of 18:6-30, which precede the section dealing with proper expressions of holiness (19:1-37). These were all related issues, as the proper worship of God led to proper conduct toward other people, while improper worship of God led to moral violations.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
