CLV [Væ duplici corde, et labiis scelestis, et manibus malefacientibus, et peccatori terram ingredienti duabus viis ![fn]
([Alas duplici corde, and labiis scelestis, and manibus malefacientibus, and peccatori the_earth/land ingredienti duabus viis !)
2.14 Alas duplici corde, etc. Admonuit, ne who/any duplici corde accederet to God; now however dicit, Alas duplici corde and labiis scelestis. Who because prava cogitat, and loquitur, and pravis insistit operibus, nisi pœnituerit, in eternal peribit. Duabus viis the_earth/land ingredientis who facit mala, and sperat bona; vel, who carnis sectatur opera, and spiritus sanctificationem se arbitratur perficere in timore; vel, that God it_is opere exhibet, and that mundi it_is, cogitatione quærit. Tales vero inconstantes are in omnibus viis to_his_own, because facile in adversis terrentur, and prosperis irretiuntur.
