BrLXX Φάγε ὡς ἄνθρωπος τὰ παρακείμενά σοι, καὶ μὴ διαμασῷ, μὴ μισηθῇς.
(Fage hōs anthrōpos ta parakeimena soi, kai maʸ diamasōi, maʸ misaʸthaʸs. )
BrTr Eat, as it becometh a man, those things which are set before thee; and devour not, lest thou be hated.
WEBBE The eyes of the Lord are on those who love him,
⇔ a mighty protection and strong support,
⇔ a cover from the hot blast, a shade from the noonday sun,
⇔ a guard from stumbling, and a help from falling.
KJB-1611 [fn]For the eyes of the Lord are vpon them that loue him, he is their mightie protection, and strong stay, a defence from heat, and a couer from the Sunne at noone, a preseruation from stumbling, and a helpe from falling.
