⇔ in prayer before him who is merciful,
⇔ until the worship of the Lord was finished,
⇔ and so they accomplished his service.
BrLXX Καὶ ἐδεήθη ὁ λαὸς Κυρίου ὑψίστου ἐν προσευχῇ κατέναντι ἐλεήμονος, ἕως συντελεσθῇ κόσμος Κυρίου, καὶ τὴν λειτουργίαν αὐτοῦ ἐτελείωσαν.
(Kai edeaʸthaʸ ho laos Kuriou hupsistou en proseuⱪaʸ katenanti eleaʸmonos, heōs suntelesthaʸ kosmos Kuriou, kai taʸn leitourgian autou eteleiōsan. )
BrTr And the people besought the Lord, the most High, by prayer before him that is merciful, till the solemnity of the Lord was ended, and they had finished his service.
WEBBE And the people implored the Lord Most High,
⇔ in prayer before him who is merciful,

DRA Then all the people together made haste, and fell down to the earth upon their faces, to adore the Lord their God, and to pray to the Almighty God the most High.
