Mark 3:20–30

3:20 The two opposing spiritual powers

(Mat. 12:22-32; Luke 11:14-23; 12:10)

20 Then Yeshua (Jesus; Grk. Yesus) was approaching a house, but the crowd swarmed them again so they had no opportunity to eat. 21 The ones with him heard all the noise and came to get him, because they were wondering if he was crazy.

22 The religious teachers had come up from Yerushalem (Jerusalem) and were complaining, “He’s possessed by the prince of demons. He can command them because he rules them!”[ref]

23 But Yeshua addressed them: “How could Satan command himself? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom could never prosper. 25 If a household is divided against itself, that family will never prosper. 26 So if Satan attacked himself and was split, he couldn’t possibly be powerful, but his time would be over.

27 On the contrary, no one can enter a strong man’s house to clean out his possessions unless he first ties up that strong man—after that he can work on the goods.

28 Honestly, I assure you that any sins of a person can be forgiven, no matter how much they curse God. 29 But anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit can never be forgiven, but is eternally responsible for their sin.”[ref] 30 (He said that because they were saying that he was demon-possessed.)

26 And if the Satan rose _up against himself and was _divided, he _is_ not _able to _stand, but is _having an_end.

27 But no _one is_ not _able having _come _in into the house of _the strong man to _thoroughly _plunder the goods of _him, if not first he _may _bind the strong man, and then he _will _be _thoroughly _plundering the house of _him.

28 Truly, I _am _saying to _you _all that all the sins will _be _being _forgiven to _the sons of_ the _men, and as _many _as the slander if they _may _slander.

29 But wishfully whoever may _slander against the the holy spirit, is_ not _having forgiveness to the eternity, but is liable of _eternal sin,

30 because they _were _saying:
He _is _having an_ unclean _spirit.

Mat 12:22–32

12:22 Yeshua accused of being the leader of demons

(Mark 3:20-30; Luke 11:14-23)

22 Then a man possessed by evil spirits was brought to Yeshua (Jesus; Grk. Yesus). He was blind and unable to speak, but Yeshua healed him so that he could both speak and see. 23 All the people were amazed and were saying, “Surely this must be the promised descendant of David?”

24 When the Farisaios’ party heard about that, they said, “That man’s only driving out demons by the authority of Beelzeboul, the demons’ leader.”[ref]

25 But Yeshua, knowing their thoughts, said, “Every kingdom that’s divided against itself is doomed, and any city or household that’s divided against itself will self-destruct. 26 If Satan’s driving out Satan, then he’s divided against himself, and how could his kingdom possibly be established? 27 And if I’m driving out demons by Beelzeboul’s authority, then whose authority are your sons using to drive them out? 28 But if I’m driving out demons by God’s spirit’s authority, then that must mean that God’s kingdom has already arrived among you people.

29 “How can someone go into a strong man’s house and steal his goods if they don’t tie him up first? Only then can his home be plundered.

30 “Anyone who’s not for me is against me, and anyone who isn’t helping me gather others is scattering them.[ref] 31 That’s why I’m telling you that people can be forgiven for all kinds of sin and slander, except that slandering God’s spirit won’t be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks out against the son of humanity can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks out against the holy spirit won’t be forgiven either in this age or in the coming one.[ref]

29 Or how is_ anyone _able to _come _in into the house of _the strong man and to _snatch the goods of _him, if not first he _may _bind the strong man?
And then he _will _be _thoroughly _plundering the household of _him.

30 The one not being with me is against me, and the one not gathering _together with me is _scattering.

31 Because _of this I _am _saying to _you _all, every sin and slander will _be _being _forgiven to _the people, but the slander of _the spirit ˓will˒_ not _be _being _forgiven.

32 And if whoever may _speak a_message against the son of_ the _Man, it _will _be _being _forgiven to _him, but whoever wishfully may _speak against the the holy spirit, it_˓will˒_ not _be _being _forgiven to _him, neither in this the age nor in the one coming.

Luke 11:14–23

11:14 Yeshua is accused of being demon-possessed

(Mark 3:20-27; Mat. 12:22-30)

14 Then Yeshua (Jesus; Grk. Yesus) drove out a demon that caused muteness, and after the demon departed, the man was able to speak. The crowds were amazed, 15 but yet some of them said, “He’s driving out demons because he’s Beelzeboul the leader of the demons.”[ref]

16 Others who wanted to test who he was, asked Yeshua to send a sign from heaven,[ref] 17 but he knew their thoughts and told them, “Any kingdom that’s divided against itself is doomed, and any household that’s divided will self-destruct. 18 So if Satan was fighting against himself, how could his kingdom even remain? Yes, I know that you’re all saying that I must be Beelzeboul in order to drive out demons, 19 but if I have Beelzeboul’s power over demons, then whose power do your apprentices use to drive out demons? 20 However if I’m driving out demons with power that comes from God, then that means that God’s kingdom is right in the middle of you all.
