11 And it _became at the time him to _be in a_ certain _place praying, when he _ceased, someone of _the apprentices/followers of _him said to him:
master, teach us to _be _praying, as also Yōannaʸs taught the apprentices/followers of _him.
2 And he _said to _them:
Whenever you _all _may _be _praying, be _saying:
father, let_ the name of _you _be _sanctified.
let_ the kingdom of _you.
_Come.
3 Be _giving the the to _us daily _needed bread of _us, which in _every day.
4 And forgive to _us the sins of _us, because/for also we_ ourselves _are _forgiving to _everyone owing to _us.
And not may _you _carry _in us into temptation.
5 And he _said to them:
Who of you _all will _be _having a_friend, and will _be _going to him at _midnight, and may _say to _him:
Friend, lend three loaves to _me, 6 since a_friend of _me arrived from a_journey to me, and I _am_ not _having what I _will _be _setting _before to _him.
7 And _that one inside answering may _say:
Be_ not _bringing _about to _me troubles, the door has _been _shut already, and the little _children of _me are with me in the bed, I _am_ not _being _able having _risen _up to _give anything to _you.
8 I _am _saying to _you _all, even if ˓will˒_ not _be _giving to _him having _risen _up, because _of that to _be friend of _him, surely because _of the persistence of _him having _been _raised, will _be _giving to _him of _as _much _as he _is _needing.
9 And _I am _saying to _you _all:
Be _requesting, and it _will _be _being _given to _you _all, be _seeking, and you _all _will _be _finding, be _knocking, and it _will _be _being _opened _up to _you _all.
10 For/Because everyone which requesting is _receiving, and the one seeking is _finding, and to _the one knocking it _will _be _being _opened _up.
11 and who of of _you _all the son will _be _requesting the father, a_fish, and instead _of a_fish, will _be _handing _out a_serpent?
to _him 12 or also will _be _requesting an_egg, will _be _handing _out a_scorpion to _him?
13 Therefore if you _all being evil, have _known good gifts to _be _giving to _the children of _you _all, for _how _much more the father who is of heaven will _be _giving the_ holy _spirit to _the ones requesting him?
14 And he _was throwing _out a_ mute _demon.
And it _became the demon having _come _out, the mute man spoke.
And the crowds marvelled.
15 But some of them said:
He _is _throwing _out the demons by Beʼelzeboul the ruler of _the demons.
16 And others testing, were _seeking a_sign from the_sky from him.
17 But he having _known the thoughts of _them said to _them:
Every kingdom having _been _divided against itself is _being _desolated, and a_house against a_house is _falling.
18 And if the Satan/(Sāţān) also was _divided against himself, how ˓will˒_ the kingdom of _him _be _being _stood?
Because you _all _are _saying, by Beʼelzeboul me to _be _throwing _out the demons.
19 And if I am _throwing _out the demons by Beʼelzeboul, by whom are_ the sons of _you _all _throwing _out?
Because _of this, they will _be judges of _you _all.
20 But if I am _throwing _out the demons by the_finger of_god, consequently the kingdom of_ the _god came on you _all.
21 Whenever the strong one having _been _armed, may _be _guarding the palace of _himself, the things possessing of _him is, in peace, 22 but when stronger than him having _come _over, may _overcome him, he _is _taking _away the whole _armor of _him in which he _had _trusted, and is _distributing the plunder of _him.
23 The one being not with me, is against me, and the one not gathering _together with me, is _scattering.
24 whenever the unclean spirit may _come _out from the person, it _is _passing _through through waterless places seeking rest, and not finding, it _is _saying:
I _will _be _returning to the house of _me, whence I _came _out.
25 And having _come, it _is _finding it having _been _swept and having _been _adorned.
26 Then it _is _going and is _taking seven other spirits more _evil than itself, and having _come _in, is _dwelling there, and the last of_ the that _person is _becoming, worse than the first.
27 And it _became at the time him to _be _saying these things, a_certain woman from the crowd having _lifted _up a_voice, said to _him:
Blessed is the womb which having _borne you, and the_breasts which you _nursed.
28 But he said:
Indeed _rather, blessed are the ones hearing the message of_ the _god and keeping it.
29 And the crowds being _increased, he _began to _be _saying:
- this generation is evil generation, it _is _seeking a_sign and a_sign ˓will˒_ not _be _being _given to _it, except not/lest the sign of _Yōnas/(Yōnāh).
30 For/Because as Yōnas became a_sign to _the Nineuitaʸs/(ones_from _Nīnəvēh), thus the son of_ the _man also will _be to_ the this _generation.
31 The_queen of_the_south will _be _being _raised at the judgement with the men the this generation, and will _be _condemning them, because she _came from the ends of _the earth to _hear the wisdom of _Solomōn/(Shəlmoh), and see, one _greater than Solomōn is here.
32 Nineuitaʸs/(ones_from _Nīnəvēh) men will _be _standing _up at the judgement with the this generation, and they _will _be _condemning it, because they _repented at the proclamation of _Yōnas, and see, one _greater than Yōnas is here.
33 no _one having _lit a_lamp is _putting it in a_hidden _place, nor under the basket, but on the lampstand, in _order _that the ones entering _in may _be _seeing the light.
34 The lamp of _the body is the eye of _you.
Whenever the eye of _you may _be healthy, all the body of _you is also bright, but when evil may _be, the body of _you is also dark.
35 Therefore be _looking _out, lest the light which in you is darkness.
36 Therefore if the whole body of _you is bright, not having any dark part, it _will_ all _be bright, as whenever the lamp may _be _illuminating you the with _shining.
37 And at the time to _speak, a_Farisaios_party _member is _asking him so _that he _may _eat _breakfast with him, and having _come _in, he _sat _down.
38 And the Farisaios_party _member having _seen it, marvelled that he _was_ not first _washed before the dinner.
39 But the master said to him:
Now you _all the Farisaios_party are _cleansing the part outside of _the cup and of _the platter, and which inside of _you _all is _being _full of _theft and wickedness.
40 Foolish.
Not the one having _made the_ outside _part, also made the_ inside _part?
41 However give as _alms the things being _within, and see, all things is clean to _you _all.
42 But woe to _you _all the Farisaios_party, because you _all _are _tithing the mint, and the rue, and every garden _plant, and you _all _are _passing _by the justice and the love of_ the _god.
And these things it _was _fitting to _do, and _those things to_ not _neglect.
43 Woe to _you _all the Farisaios_party, because you _all _are _loving the best _seat in the synagogues, and the greetings in the marketplaces.
44 Woe to _you _all, because you _all _are as the the unseen tombs, and the people walking over they _have_ not _known it.
45 And someone of _the lawyers answering is _saying to _him:
Teacher, saying these things, you _are _insulting us also.
46 But he said, woe also to _you _all the lawyers.
Because you _all _are _burdening the people with_ unbearable _burdens, and yourselves you _all _are_ not _touching upon _the burdens with _one of _the fingers of _you _all.
47 Woe to _you _all, because you _all _are _building the tombs of _the prophets, but the fathers of _you _all killed_ them _off.
48 Consequently you _all _are _testifying and you _all _are _consenting to _the works of _the fathers of _you _all, because they on _one _hand killed_ them _off, on _the _other _hand you _all are _building their _tombs.
49 Because _of this the wisdom of_ the _god also said:
I _will _be _sending _out prophets and ambassadors to them, and they _will _be _killing _off and they _will _be _persecuting of them, 50 in _order _that the blood of _all the prophets, which being _poured _out from the_foundation of_the_world may _be _sought _out, from the this generation, 51 from the_blood of _Abel/(Heⱱel) to the_blood of _Zaⱪarias, of _the one having _destroyed between the altar and the house.
Yes, I _am _saying to _you _all, it _will _be _being _sought _out from the this generation.
52 Woe to _you _all the lawyers, because you _all _took _away the key of _the knowledge, yourselves you _all_ not _came _in, and you _all _forbade the ones coming _in.
53 And _from _there of _him of _having _come _out, the scribes and the Farisaios_party began to _be _resenting him terribly, and to _be _interrogating him about more things, 54 lying _in _wait him to _catch something out _of the mouth of _him.
