2 And it _became in the those days, a_decree came _out from Kaisar Augustus/(Sebastos), all the inhabited _world to _be _registering.
2 (This registration first became when_ Kuraʸnios _governing the Suria/(ʼArām).
) 3 And all were _going to _be _registering, each to the city of _himself.
4 And Yōsaʸf/(Yōşēf) went _up also, from the Galilaia/(Gālīl) out _of the_city of _Nazaret, to the Youdaia to the_city of _Dawid/(Dāvid), which is _being _called Baʸthleʼem/(Bēyt-leḩem), because _of that him to _be from the_household and family of _Dawid, 5 to _register with Maria/(Miryām), which having _been _betrothed to _him, being pregnant.
6 And it _became at the time them to _be there, were _fulfilled the days of _the child her to _bear.
7 And she _bore the son of _her the firstborn, and swaddled him, and laid him in a_manger, because was not a_place for _them in the guest _room.
8 And shepherds were in the the same region, lodging _in _the _fields and keeping watch the by _night over the flock of _them.
9 And an_messenger of_the_master approached to _them, and the_glory of_the_master shined _around them, and they _were _afraid with_ great _fear.
10 And the messenger said to _them:
Be_ not _fearing, because/for see, I _am _good _message _preaching to _you _all great joy, which will _be to _all the people, 11 because today a_saviour was _born to _you _all, who is the_chosen _one /messiah, the_master, in the_city of _Dawid.
12 And this is the sign to _you _all:
you _all _will _be _finding a_baby having _been _swaddled, and lying in a_manger.
13 And suddenly a_multitude of_the_ heavenly _army became with the messenger, praising the god and saying, 14 Glory to_god in the_highest, and peace on earth among humans with _good _pleasure.
15 And it _became as the messengers went _away from them into the heaven, the shepherds were _saying to one _another:
We _may_ indeed _pass _through as _far _as Baʸthleʼem/(Bēyt-leḩem), and we _may _see the message this the thing having _become, which the master made _known to _us.
16 And came having _hurried, and sought _out the both Maria/(Miryām) and the Yōsaʸf/(Yōşēf), and the baby, lying in the manger.
17 And having _seen, they _made _known concerning the saying which having _been _spoken to _them, concerning the this little _child.
18 And all the ones having _heard, marvelled concerning the things having _been _spoken by the shepherds to them.
19 But the Maria was _treasuring all the these messages, considering them in the heart of _her.
20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising the god for all things which they _heard and saw, as was _spoken to them.
21 And when eight days were _fulfilled which to _circumcise him, also the name of _him was _called Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa), which having _been _called by the messenger before the time him to _be _conceived in the womb.
22 And when the days of _the purification of _them according _to the law of _Mōsaʸs/(Mosheh) were _fulfilled, they _brought_ him _up to Hierousalaʸm/(Yərūshālayim) to _present to _the master, 23 as it _has _been _written in the_law of_the_master, that Every male opening _up a_womb, will _be _being _called holy to _the master, 24 and which to _give a_sacrifice, according _to the message having _been _said in the law of_the_master:

25 And see, a_man was in Hierousalaʸm, whose name was Sumeōn/(Shimˊōn), and the this_ man _was righteous and devout, waiting _for the_comfort of_ the _Israaʸl/(Yisrā^ʼēl), and the_ holy _spirit was on him.
26 And was having _been _revealed to _him by the the holy spirit, to_ not _see death before wishfully he _may _see the chosen _one /messiah of_the_master.
27 And he _came in the spirit into the temple, and at the time the parents to _bring _in, the little _child Yaʸsous, them to _do of _the thing according _to the thing having _been _accustomed by _the law for him, 28 and he received him into the arms, and blessed the god and said, 29 Now you _are _sending _away the slave of _you, master, in peace according _to the message of _you, 30 because the eyes of _me saw the salvation of _you, 31 which you _prepared in the_face of _all the peoples, 32 a_light for revelation of_the_pagans and glory of_the_people of _you, Israaʸl/(Yisrā^ʼēl).
33 And the father of _him and the mother was marvelling at the things being _spoken concerning him.
34 And Sumeōn blessed them, and said to Maria/(Miryām) the mother of _him:
Behold, this one is _appointing for the_fall and the_resurrection of _many in the Israaʸl/(Yisrā^ʼēl), and for a_sign being _spoken _against, 35 also a_sword will _be _passing _through the soul of _you of _yourself, so _that the_speculations wishfully of many hearts may _be _revealed.
36 And Hanna was a_prophetess, daughter of _Fanouaʸl, of the_tribe of _Asaʸr/(ʼĀshēr), this woman having _advanced in great days, having _lived with a_husband seven years from the virginity of _her, 37 and she was a_widow until eighty four years, who not was _withdrawing from _the temple, with _fastings and petitions serving night and day.
38 And to_the_same the hour she _having _approached, was _giving _praise the to_god, and was _speaking concerning him, to _all the ones waiting _for the_redemption in _Hierousalaʸm/(Yərūshālayim).
39 And when they _accomplished all the things according _to the law of_the_master, they _returned to the Galilaia/(Gālīl), to Nazaret the_city of _themselves.
40 And the little _child was _growing and was _being _strengthened, being _filled with _wisdom, and the_grace of_god was on him.
41 And the parents of _him were _going to Hierousalaʸm in _every year to _the feast of _the passover_feast.
42 And when he _became of_ twelve _years, them going _up according _to the custom of _the feast, 43 and having _completed the days, in the time them to _be _returning, the boy Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) remained, in Hierousalaʸm, but the parents of _him not.

44 But having _thought him to _be in the caravan, they _came the_journey of_a_day and they _were _seeking_ him _out among the relatives and the acquaintances, 45 and not having _found him, they _returned to Hierousalaʸm, seeking_ him _out.
46 And it _became after three days, they _found him in the temple, sitting in the_midst of _the teachers, both hearing from _them and asking them.
47 And all the ones hearing from _him were _marvelling at the intelligence and the answers of _him.
48 And having _seen him, they _were _astonished and the mother of _him said to him:
Child, why did _you thus to _us?
Behold, the father of _you and _I, being _distressed were _seeking you.
49 And he _said to them:
Why is _it that you _all _were _seeking me?
You _all _had_ not _known that in the house of _the father of _me it _is _fitting me to _be?
50 And they not understood the message which he _spoke to _them.
51 And he _came _down with them and came to Nazaret, and was being _subjected to _them.
And the mother of _him was _keeping all the messages in the heart of _her.
52 And Yaʸsous was _progressing the in _wisdom, and stature, and favour with god and people.
