23 And all the multitude of _ them having _ risen_ up , they _ led him to the Pilatos .
2 And they _ began to _ be_ accusing against _ him saying :
We _ found this man perverting the nation of _ us , and forbidding to _ be_ giving taxes to _ Kaisar , and saying himself the _ chosen _ one/messiah , a _ king to _ be .
3 And the Pilatos asked him saying :
Are you the king of _ the Youdaiōns ?
And he answering to _ him he _ was_ saying :
You are _ saying it .
4 And the Pilatos said to the chief _ priests and the crowds :
I _ am_ finding not _ one guilty in the this man .
5 But they were _ insisting saying , that He _ is_ stirring_ up the people , teaching throughout all the Youdaia , having _ begun from the Galilaia/(Gālīl) as _ far_ as here .
6 And Pilatos having _ heard , he _ asked whether the man is a _ Galilaios .
7 And having _ known that he _ is from the domain of _ Haʸrōdaʸs , he _ sent_ him _ up to the Haʸrōdaʸs , himself being also at Hierousalaʸm/(Yə rūshālayim) in these the days .
8 And the Haʸrōdaʸs having _ seen the Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) , was _ elated exceedingly , because/for he _ was of much times wanting to _ see him , because _ of the to _ be_ hearing concerning him , and he _ was_ hoping to _ see a _ certain sign becoming by him .
9 And he _ was_ asking him in many messages , but he he _ answered nothing to _ him .
10 And the chief _ priests and the scribes had _ stood vigorously accusing against _ him .
11 And the Haʸrōdaʸs with the armies of _ him having _ also _ scorned him , and having _ mocked him having _ thrown_ splendid clothing _ around him , he _ sent_ up him to _ the _ Pilatos .
12 And on same the day the both Haʸrōdaʸs and the Pilatos became friends with one _ another , because/for they _ were_ previously_ starting being at enmity with themselves .
13 And Pilatos having _ called_ together the chief _ priests , and the rulers , and the people , 14 said to them :
You _ all_ brought this the man to _ me , as turning _ away the people , but see , I having _ examined him before you _ all , I _ found nothing in the this man guilty of _ which you _ all_ are_ accusing against him .
15 But not _ even Haʸrōdaʸs did , because/for he _ sent_ him _ up .
to us .
And see , nothing worthy of _ death is having _ been_ done by _ him .
16 Therefore having _ disciplined him , I _ will_ be_ sending_ away him .
17 18 But they _ cried_ out all _ together saying :
Be _ taking_ away this man , and send _ The Barabbas _ away to _ us .
19 Who was , having _ been_ throw in the prison because _ of a _ certain insurrection having _ become in the city and murder .
20 And again the Pilatos called _ out to _ them , wanting to _ send_ The Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) _ away .
21 But they were _ crying_ out saying :
Be _ executing_ on_ a_ stake , be _ executing_ on_ a_ stake him .
22 And thirdly he said to them :
For/Because what evil did this man ?
I _ found not _ one cause of _ death in him .
Therefore having _ disciplined him , I _ will_ be_ sending_ away him .
23 And they were _ imposing with _ loud _ voices , requesting him to _ be_ executed_ on_ a_ stake , and the voices of _ them .
were _ prevailing .
24 And Pilatos sentenced the request of _ them to _ become .
25 And sent _ away the having _ been_ throw into the because _ of insurrection and murder prison , whom they _ were_ requesting , but the he _ gave_ Yaʸsous _ over to _ the will of _ them .
26 And as they _ led_ away him , having _ taken_ hold_ of Simōn , a _ certain from _ Kuraʸnaʸ coming from the _ country , they _ put_ the stake _ on to _ him , to _ be_ carrying behind the Yaʸsous .
27 And a _ great multitude of _ the people was _ following with _ him , and of _ women who were _ mourning and were _ lamenting him .
28 But Yaʸsous having _ been_ turned to them , said :
Daughters of _ Hierousalaʸm/(Yə rūshālayim) , be _ not _ weeping for me , however be _ weeping for yourselves , and for the children of _ you_ all .
29 Because see , days are _ coming in which they _ will_ be_ saying :
Blessed are the barren , and wombs that not bore , and breasts that not nursed .
30 Then they _ will_ be_ beginning to _ be_ saying to _ the mountains :
Fall on us , and to _ the hills :
Cover us .
31 Because if they _ are_ doing these in the green tree , what may _ become in the dry ?
32 And two other criminals were _ also _ being_ led with him to _ be_ killed .
33 And when they _ came to the place which being _ called the _ skull , there they _ executed_ on_ a_ stake him and the criminals , one on _ one_ hand on the _ right , one on _ the_ other_ hand on the _ left .
34 But dividing the clothes of _ him , they _ throw a _ lot .
35 And the people observing had _ stood .
and the rulers they _ were_ sneering_ at him also saying , he _ saved others , let _ him_ save himself , if this is the chosen _ one/messiah , the son of _ the _ god , the chosen .
36 And the soldiers they _ mocked at _ him also approaching , offering wine _ vinegar to _ him , 37 and saying :
If you are the king of _ the Youdaiōns , save yourself .
38 And was also an _ inscription over him :
The king of _ the Youdaiōns this is .
39 And one of _ the criminals having _ been_ hanged was _ slandering him saying :
Are you not the chosen _ one/messiah ?
Save yourself and us .
40 But the other answering giving _ rebuke to _ him was _ saying :
Not _ even are _ you _ fearing the god , that you _ are in the same judgment ?
41 And we on _ one_ hand justly , because/for we _ are_ taking_ back worthy of _ what we _ did , on _ the_ other_ hand this did not _ one amiss .
42 And he _ was_ saying :
Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) , Be _ reminded of _ me , whenever you _ may_ come in the kingdom of _ you .
43 And he _ said to _ him :
Truly , I _ am_ saying to _ you , today you _ will_ be with me in the paradise .
44 And it _ was now about the _ sixth _ hour , and darkness became over all the land until the _ ninth _ hour .
45 Of _ the sun having _ darkened , and the curtain of _ the temple was _ torn in _ the _ middle .
46 And the Yaʸsous having _ called with _ a _ loud _ voice , said :
father :
I _ am_ entrusting the spirit of _ me into the _ hands of _ you .
And having _ said this , he _ expired .
47 And the centurion having _ seen the having _ become , he _ glorified the god saying :
Really the this man was righteous .
48 And all the crowds having _ come_ together , to the spectacle this , having _ observed the having _ become , were _ returning striking the chests .
49 And all the acquaintances to _ him had _ stood from afar , and the _ women who accompanying with _ him from the Galilaia/(Gālīl) , seeing these .
50 And see , a _ man by _ the _ name Yōsaʸf/(Yōşēf) , being a _ council_ member , and a _ good _ man and righteous 51 (this was not having _ consented_ with with _ the counsel and the practice of _ them ), from Arimathaia , a _ city of _ the Youdaiōns , who was _ waiting_ for the kingdom of _ the _ god .
52 He having _ approached to _ the _ Pilatos , requested the body of _ the _ Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) .
53 And having _ taken_ down it , he _ wrapped it in _ a _ linen_ cloth and put him in a _ rock _ cut _ tomb , where not _ yet no _ one was not lying .
54 And it _ was the _ day of _ preparation , and the _ day_ of_ rest was _ dawning .
55 And the women having _ followed , who were having _ come_ together from the Galilaia with _ him , saw the tomb and how the body of _ him was _ laid .
56 And having _ returned , they _ prepared spices and ointments .
And indeed on _ the day _ of_ rest they _ rested according _ to the command .
