OET (OET-RV) If you ignore the agreement with your God Yahweh and disobey his commands and go and serve other gods and bow down to them, then his anger will flare up against you all and you’ll quickly be wiped out from the good land that he has given you.”
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / events
In your transgressing the covenant of Yahweh your God that he commanded you and you go and serve other gods and bow down to them

Joshua is describing one event before describing another event that would precede it. In your translation, you may wish to relate these events in the order in which they would happen. Alternate translation: “If you go and serve other gods and bow down to them and thereby transgress the covenant of Yahweh your God that he commanded you”
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
then the nose of Yahweh will burn against you

Joshua is speaking as if Yahweh’s nose could burn with anger. If it would be clearer in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: “then Yahweh will become very angry with you”
23:12-16 Apostasy—turning away from the true God—is fatal.
• Because God is holy, Joshua could speak with optimism regarding God’s promises and the good land into which God had brought them. God will not change his holy character even if his people change. The rebellion of God’s people cannot damage his holiness, but rebellion will destroy those who rebel.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
