uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / euphemism

וְאִשָּׁ֕ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׁכַּ֥ב אִ֛ישׁ אֹתָ֖הּ

and,woman which/who lies_with (a)_man DOM=her/it

This expression refers in a polite way to sexual relations between a man and a woman. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use a polite way of referring to this in your language, or you could state this plainly. Alternate translation: [And if a man and woman have sexual relations]

שִׁכְבַת־ זָ֑רַע

emission_of seed

Alternate translation: [and the man ejaculates]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / extrainfo

וְרָחֲצ֣וּ בַמַּ֔יִם

and,bathe in/on/at/with,water

See how you translated this expression in [1:9](../01/09.md).

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

15:18 If the seminal emission involved sexual intercourse, both the man and the woman became unclean and had to wash and remain unclean until the next evening. Although it involved a bodily emission, sexual intercourse was not an infection or abnormality, and it required no sacrifices.
