Similes equis. Quia sunt veloces ad discurrendum, feroces ad impugnandum, et non provident quos incurrant, sive in vicinos, sive in hostes. Tanquam coronæ. Id est victoriæ de præcipitatis et subversis acquisitæ, non per veram sapientiam.

9.7 Similitudines locustarum, etc. Since ostendisset qualiter nocerent, and per dolos and per occultam impugnationem, and in utroque God refrenationem, now ostendit quales ipsi sint per which operari possunt. Similes equis. Quia are veloces to discurrendum, feroces to impugnandum, and not/no provident which incurrant, if/or in vicinos, if/or in hostes. Tanquam coronæ. Id it_is victoriæ about præcipitatis and subversis acquisitæ, not/no per veram wisdom.
