BrLXXΧρείαν ἔσχηκέ σου, καὶ ἀποπλανήσει σε, καὶ προσγελάσεταί σοι, καὶ δώσει σοι ἐλπίδα· λαλήσει σοι καλὰ, καὶ ἐρεῖ, τίς ἡ χρεία σου;
   (Ⱪreian esⱪaʸke sou, kai apoplanaʸsei se, kai prosgelasetai soi, kai dōsei soi elpida; lalaʸsei soi kala, kai erei, tis haʸ ⱪreia sou; )

BrTrIf he have need of thee, he will deceive thee, and smile upon thee, and put thee in hope; he will speak thee fair, and say, What wantest thou?


WEBBEDoes he need you? Then he will deceive you,
 ⇔ smile at you, and give you hope.
 ⇔ He will speak kindly to you and say, “What do you need?”
