⇔ He who listens to the Lord will bring rest to his mother,
BrLXX Ὁ δοξάζων πατέρα μακροημερεύσει, καὶ ὁ εἰσακούων Κυρίου ἀναπαύσει μητέρα αὐτοῦ,
(Ho doxazōn patera makroaʸmereusei, kai ho eisakouōn Kuriou anapausei maʸtera autou, )
BrTr He that honoureth his father shall have a long life; and he that is obedient unto the Lord shall be a comfort to his mother,
WEBBE He who gives glory to his father will have length of days.
⇔ He who listens to the Lord will bring rest to his mother,
DRA He that honoureth his father shall have joy in his own children, and in the day of his prayer he shall be heard.
RV He that giveth glory to his father shall have length of days;

KJB-1611 He that honoureth his father, shal haue a long life, and he that is obedient vnto the Lord, shall bee a comfort to his mother.

Wycl He that onourith his fadir, schal be maad myrie in sones, and he schal be herd in the dai of his preier.
