BrLXXὉ δὲ Κύριος οὐ μὴ καταλίπῃ τὸ ἔλεος αὐτοῦ, καὶ οὐ μη διαφθαρῇ ἀπὸ τῶν ἔργων αὐτοῦ· οὐδὲ μὴ ἐξαλείψῃ ἐκλεκτοῦ ἔκγονα, καὶ σπέρμα τοῦ ἀγαπήσαντος αὐτὸν οὐ μὴ ἐξάρῃ· καὶ τῷ Ἰακὼβ ἔδωκε κατάλειμμα, καὶ τῷ Δαυὶδ ἐξ αὐτοῦ ῥίζαν.
   (Ho de Kurios ou maʸ katalipaʸ to eleos autou, kai ou maʸ diaftharaʸ apo tōn ergōn autou; oude maʸ exaleipsaʸ eklektou ekgona, kai sperma tou agapaʸsantos auton ou maʸ exaraʸ; kai tōi Yakōb edōke kataleimma, kai tōi Dawid ex autou ɽizan. )

BrTrBut the Lord will never leave off his mercy, neither shall any of his works perish, neither will he abolish the posterity of his elect, and the seed of him that loveth him he will not take away: wherefore he gave a remnant unto Jacob, and out of him a root unto David.


WEBBEBut the Lord will never forsake his mercy.
