(Some words not found in UHB: YHWH ʼElohīm not turn_away face/surface_of anointed_of,your remember, to,steadfast_love_of Dāvid servant_of,your )
Turning the face of someone away represents rejecting him. Alternate translation: “do not reject your anointed one”

(Occurrence 0) your anointed
(Some words not found in UHB: YHWH ʼElohīm not turn_away face/surface_of anointed_of,your remember, to,steadfast_love_of Dāvid servant_of,your )
“your anointed one.” Being anointed is a metonym for being chosen by God. King Solomon may have been speaking specifically about himself. If your language does not use the passive form in this way, you can state this in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: “the one you anointed” or “me, the one you chose to be king” (See also: figs-activepassive)
(Occurrence 0) Keep in mind your acts of covenant loyalty for David, your servant
(Some words not found in UHB: YHWH ʼElohīm not turn_away face/surface_of anointed_of,your remember, to,steadfast_love_of Dāvid servant_of,your )
The phrase “your acts” can be expressed with the phrase “what you have done.” Alternate translation: “Remember what you have done for David, your servant, because of your covenant loyalty”
(Occurrence 0) Keep in mind
(Some words not found in UHB: YHWH ʼElohīm not turn_away face/surface_of anointed_of,your remember, to,steadfast_love_of Dāvid servant_of,your )
Alternate translation: “Remember”
6:42 In harmony with the opening of the prayer (6:15-17), Solomon asks God to remember his unfailing love for . . . David; this refers to the covenant promise that God made to David (1 Chr 17:4-14; see Isa 55:3).
