Here God’s name represents his reputation. Alternate translation: “may know your reputation” or “may know your greatness”

(Some words not found in UHB: and=you(ms) hear from/more_than the=heavens from,place_of dwelling,your and,do according_to,all which/who he/it_called/named of,you the,foreigner in_order_that know all peoples_of the=earth/land DOM your(ms)=name and,to,fear DOM,you as,people_of,your Yisrael and,that,know that/for/because/then/when name_of,your called on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in the,house the=this which/who built )
The phrase “is called by your name” shows that God possesses and owns the house. If your language does not use the passive form in this way, you can state this in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: “you own this house that I have built”
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / synecdoche
(Occurrence 0) this house I have built
(Some words not found in UHB: and=you(ms) hear from/more_than the=heavens from,place_of dwelling,your and,do according_to,all which/who he/it_called/named of,you the,foreigner in_order_that know all peoples_of the=earth/land DOM your(ms)=name and,to,fear DOM,you as,people_of,your Yisrael and,that,know that/for/because/then/when name_of,your called on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in the,house the=this which/who built )
Solomon speaks of commanding the people to build the temple and telling them how to do it as if he himself had built it. See how you translated a similar phrase in [2 Chronicles 6:18](../06/18.md). Alternate translation: “this house that your people have built under my leadership” or “this house that I and your people have built”
6:21-39 In his covenant with Israel, the Lord established blessings and life as consequences of obedience, and curses and death as consequences of disobedience (Deut 27:11–28:68; 30:15-18). Solomon prayed for God to hear . . . and forgive when the people failed to keep God’s covenant. The seven “if-then” petitions of his prayer represented any future situation that the people of the covenant might encounter. In each case, Solomon described the situation and asked God to intervene to help his people.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
