OET (OET-RV) He who chastises his son will have profit from him,
⇔ and will brag about him amongst his acquaintances.
BrLXX Ὁ παιδεύων τὸν υἱὸν αὐτοῦ ὀνήσεται ἐπʼ αὐτῷ, καὶ ἀναμέσον γνωρίμων ἐπʼ αὐτῷ καυχήσεται.
(Ho paideuōn ton huion autou onaʸsetai epʼ autōi, kai anameson gnōrimōn epʼ autōi kauⱪaʸsetai. )
BrTr He that chastiseth his son shall have joy in him, and shall rejoice of him among his acquaintance.
WEBBE He who chastises his son will have profit from him,
⇔ and will brag about him amongst his acquaintances.
DRA He that instructeth his son shall be praised in him, and shall glory in him in the midst of them of his household.
RV He that chastiseth his son shall have profit of him,
