(En taʸ zōaʸ autou eide kai eufranthaʸ, kai en taʸ teleutaʸ autou ouk elupaʸthaʸ. )
BrTr While he lived, he saw and rejoiced in him: and when he died, he was not sorrowful.
WEBBE In his life, he saw his son and rejoiced.
