OET (OET-LV)And Petros answered to her:
Tell to_me if for_so_much the property and?
you_all_gave_back she said:
Yes, for_so_much.

OET (OET-RV)Peter checked, “Is it true that you guys sold the property for such-and-such an amount?”
¶ “Yes, for that amount,” she replied.

uW Translation Notes:

ἀπεκρίθη & πρὸς αὐτὴν

answered & to her

The word translated said means to continue or resume a conversation. Alternate translation: [asked her, based on what her husband had said]

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / youdual

ἀπέδοσθε

˱you_all˲_gave_back

Since Peter is speaking of two people, Ananaias and Sapphira, you would be dual if your language uses that form. Otherwise, it would be plural.

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

τοσούτου & ναί, τοσούτου

˱for˲_so_much & yes ˱for˲_so_much

This refers to the amount of money that Ananias had given to the apostles. Peter may be naming the amount or, as UST suggests, he may be showing Sapphira the money. Alternate translation: [for this amount of money … yes, for that amount of money]

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

5:1-11 Luke is fond of balancing a positive example with a negative example. He has just recorded the remarkable story of Barnabas (4:36-37). Now Luke presents the opposite conduct of Ananias and Sapphira, who were tempted by the desire to be held in high regard. Ananias had not been forced to sell his property or to give the proceeds away. The couple’s sin was in their pretense and deception.
