OET (OET-LV)And_rushed on/upon/above_him/it the_spirit of_YHWH and_he/it_descended ʼAshəqəlōn and_killed from_them thirty man and_he/it_took DOM spoil_their and_he/it_gave the_garments to_explained the_riddle and_it_glowed/burned anger_his and_he/it_ascended the_house father’s_his.

OET (OET-RV)Then Yahweh’s spirit rose up in him, and he went to Ashkelon and killed thirty men there. He took their possessions, and he gave the changes of clothes for the riddle. But he was very angry, so he went back to his parent’s home.

uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom

And the Spirit of Yahweh rushed on him

(Some words not found in UHB: and,rushed on/upon/above=him/it spirit YHWH and=he/it_descended ʼAshəqəlōn and,killed from=them thirty (a)_man and=he/it_took DOM spoil,their and=he/it_gave the,garments to,explained the,riddle and=it_glowed/burned anger,his and=he/it_ascended house_of father's,his )

See how you translated the same expression in 14:6. Alternate translation: “And the Spirit of Yahweh came and empowered him”

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom

And his nose burned

(Some words not found in UHB: and,rushed on/upon/above=him/it spirit YHWH and=he/it_descended ʼAshəqəlōn and,killed from=them thirty (a)_man and=he/it_took DOM spoil,their and=he/it_gave the,garments to,explained the,riddle and=it_glowed/burned anger,his and=he/it_ascended house_of father's,his )

The author is speaking as if Samson’s nose had literally burned. The General Introduction to Judges discusses this usage. If it would be clearer in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: “And he became extremely angry”

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

and he went up {to} the house of his father

(Some words not found in UHB: and,rushed on/upon/above=him/it spirit YHWH and=he/it_descended ʼAshəqəlōn and,killed from=them thirty (a)_man and=he/it_took DOM spoil,their and=he/it_gave the,garments to,explained the,riddle and=it_glowed/burned anger,his and=he/it_ascended house_of father's,his )

The author means implicitly that Samson did not officially marry the Philistine woman, but instead returned to the house of his father. You could say that explicitly if it would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: “and he did not officially marry the woman, but instead returned to the house of his father”

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

14:19 Samson kept his side of the deal (cp. 1 Sam 18:20-27). He apparently returned home without consummating his marriage, which traditionally would have happened at the end of the seven days of feasting.
