OET (OET-LV)And_he/it_said to/for_them out_of_the_eater it_came_out food and_out_of_strong it_came_out a_sweet_[thing] and_not they_were_able to_announce the_riddle three days.

OET (OET-RV)So he said,
⇔ “Food came out of the eater,
⇔ and sweetness came out of the strong one.”
§ But three days later, they still couldn’t solve his riddle.

uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

{for} three days

(Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_said to/for=them out_of,the,eater he/it_went_forth something_to_eat and,out_of,strong he/it_went_forth sweet and=not could to=announce the,riddle three days )

The implication is that the Philistine young men tried for three days to solve the riddle and then gave up and forgot about it until the end of the feast. You could say that explicitly if it would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: “for three days, so they gave up and forgot about it until the end of the feast”

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

14:14-19 Israel’s hero, like Sisera, was defeated by a woman (4:21; see study note on 8:20-21).
