וַיִּבְרַ֣ח אֲדַ֡ד הוּא֩ וַאֲנָשִׁ֨ים אֲדֹמִיִּ֜ים מֵעַבְדֵ֥י אָבִ֛יו אִתּ֖וֹ לָב֣וֹא מִצְרָ֑יִם
(Some words not found in UHB: and,he_fled Hₐdad he/it and,people ʼEdōmites some,of_the_servants_of his/its=father with=him/it to,go Miʦrayim/(Egypt) and,Hadad boy young )
Since Hadad was a little boy at this time, it is not likely that he fled on his own. It appears that these men from the servants of his father conducted him to safety. You could indicate this explicitly in your translation if that would be helpful to your readers. The UST models one way to do that.
Note 2 topic: translate-names
אֲדַ֡ד
Hₐdad
Adad is a variant spelling of the name Hadad. The author may be giving his name in the form in which the people he encountered in the places described in the next verse would have said it. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could use the name “Hadad” here.
OET (OET-LV) And_ Hₐdad _he_fled he and_people ʼEdōmite some_of_the_servants_of his/its_father with_him/it to_ Miʦrayim/(Egypt) _go and_Hₐdad was_a_youth young.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
