The author is using the expression wives, princesses to introduce these wives of Solomon as new participants in the story. Your language may have its own way of introducing new participants that you can use in your translation. Alternate translation: [And he had 700 wives who were princesses] or [And he had 700 wives whom he had married to make alliances with their fathers, who were kings]

וַיַּטּ֥וּ נָשָׁ֖יו אֶת־לִבּֽוֹ
(Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_was to=him/it women/wives princesses seven hundreds and, concubines three hundreds and,they_turned_aside wives_of,his DOM his/its=heart )
The author is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You can supply these words from the context if that would be clearer in your language. The usual full expression occurs in verse 2. Alternate translation: [And his wives stretched out his heart after their gods] or [And his wives caused him to become devoted to their gods]
OET (OET-LV) And_he/it_was to_him/it wives noble_ladies seven hundred(s) and_concubines three hundred(s) wives_of_his and_they_turned_aside DOM his/its_heart.
OET (OET-RV) He had seven hundred wives who were kings’ daughters, as well as three hundred slave-wives, and his wives were instrumental in his turning away from Yahweh.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
