Here, these two clauses could refer to: (1) two different groups of people, “sojourners” who live among the Israelites as foreigners and anyone else who happens to be living among the Israelites. Alternate translation: [sojourner sojourns with you, or if anyone else is in your midst for your generations] (2) one group of people, with the second clause further defining the first. Alternate translation: [a sojourner sojourns with you in your midst for your generations] (3) two different groups of people, “sojourners” who are temporary residents and others who are permanent residents. Alternate translation: [a sojourner temporarily lives among you, or someone permanently lives among you for your generations]

It might seem that the expression a sojourner sojourns contains extra information that would not be natural to express in your language. If so, you could shorten it. Alternate translation: [someone sojourns]

Here the masculine terms he makes and he shall do have a generic sense that includes both men and women. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could use language in your translation that is clearly inclusive of both men and women. Alternate translation: [and he or she makes … he or she shall do]

Yahweh is speaking of himself in the third person as Yahweh. If it would be helpful in your language, you could translate this in the first person. Alternate translation: [for me]
