If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea of atonement, you could express the same idea in another way. Alternate translation: [And the priest shall offer the sacrifices to restore all the congregation of the sons of Israel to Yahweh]

If it would be more natural in your language, you could reverse the order of these phrases, since the second phrase gives the reason for the result that the first phrase it shall be forgiven for them describes. Alternate translation: [and because it was a mistake, and they, they brought their offering, a gift, to Yahweh, and their sin offering to the face of Yahweh according to their mistake, it shall be forgiven for them]

The expression it shall be forgiven for them is a passive verbal form. If your language would not use that form, you could express the idea in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. If you need to say who does the action, the context indicates that it is God. Alternate translation: [and Yahweh shall forgive them]

וְ⁠הֵם֩ הֵבִ֨יאוּ

and,they brought

The author is stating the pronoun they separately, even though the verb translated as brought already includes this meaning. He is doing that to emphasize that the Israelites themselves were the ones who brought the offering. If a speaker of your language would use an explicit pronoun for the same purpose, you may want to use that construction in your translation. If not, your language may have other ways of showing the meaning here. Alternate translation: [and as for them, they brought] or [and they brought]

By their offering, a gift, the author means the bull mentioned in [verse 24](../15/24.md), and by their sin offering, he means the male goat also mentioned in [verse 24](../15/24.md). Yahweh is speaking of himself in the third person as Yahweh. If it would be helpful in your language, you could translate this in the first person. Alternate translation: [to me … to my face]

Here, to the face of represents being in front of Yahweh. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or plain language. Alternate translation: [before Yahweh]
