OET (OET-RV) You must present the first portion of your dough and hold it up just like a presentation from the threshing floor.
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
רֵאשִׁית֙ עֲרִסֹ֣תֵכֶ֔ם חַלָּ֖ה תָּרִ֣ימוּ
beginning_of your(pl)_dough(s)_of,your(pl) loaf present
By the first of your dough, the author means the first dough made from a new harvest of grain. You could indicate this explicitly in your translation if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [When you first make dough from a new harvest of grain, you must make a loaf that you shall raise]
Note 2 topic: translate-ordinal
רֵאשִׁית֙ עֲרִסֹ֣תֵכֶ֔ם
beginning_of your(pl)_dough(s)_of,your(pl)
If your language would not represent a number in a form such as first, you could represent this number in a form that your language would use. Alternate translation: [Some of the initial batch of]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
תָּרִ֣ימוּ & תָּרִ֥ימוּ אֹתָֽהּ
present & present DOM=her/it
Here, Moses is speaking of setting grain aside as if it were actually raising it up to God. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. See how you translated the similar phrase in [verse 19](../15/19.md). Alternate translation: [you shall set apart … you shall set it apart]
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
כִּתְרוּמַ֣ת גֹּ֔רֶן כֵּ֖ן תָּרִ֥ימוּ אֹתָֽהּ
like,a_contribution_of threshing_floor yes/correct/thus/so present DOM=her/it
The implication is that the contribution from the first dough should be treated the same way as contributions from grain harvested at the threshing floor. You could include this information if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [When you raise it, it counts as a contribution of the threshing floor] or [You shall raise it in the same way that you raise a contribution of the threshing floor]
Note 5 topic: figures-of-speech / possession
כִּתְרוּמַ֣ת גֹּ֔רֶן
like,a_contribution_of threshing_floor
The author is using the possessive form to describe a contribution that is characterized by coming from the threshing floor. If a speaker of your language would not use the possessive form for this, you could express this idea in another way. Alternate translation: [a contribution that comes from the threshing floor]
OET (OET-LV) The_first_of your(pl)_dough(s)_of_your(pl) a_cake you(pl)_will_offer_up a_contribution like_a_contribution_of the_threshing_floor so you(pl)_will_offer_up DOM_her/it.
OET (OET-RV) You must present the first portion of your dough and hold it up just like a presentation from the threshing floor.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
