τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπ’ αὐτὸν, ἐδόθη αὐτῷ

˱to˲_the_‹one› sitting on (Some words not found in SR-GNT: Καί ἐξῆλθεν ἄλλος ἵππος πυρρός καί τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπʼ αὐτόν ἐδόθη αὐτῷ λαβεῖν τήν εἰρήνην ἐκ τῆς γῆς καί ἵνα ἀλλήλους σφάξουσιν καί ἐδόθη αὐτῷ μάχαιρα μεγάλη)

If your language does not use this passive form, you could express the idea in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: [God allowed the one sitting on it]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns

λαβεῖν τὴν εἰρήνην ἐκ τῆς γῆς

˓to˒_take (Some words not found in SR-GNT: Καί ἐξῆλθεν ἄλλος ἵππος πυρρός καί τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπʼ αὐτόν ἐδόθη αὐτῷ λαβεῖν τήν εἰρήνην ἐκ τῆς γῆς καί ἵνα ἀλλήλους σφάξουσιν καί ἐδόθη αὐτῷ μάχαιρα μεγάλη)

˓to˒_take (Some words not found in SR-GNT: Καί ἐξῆλθεν ἄλλος ἵππος πυρρός καί τῷ καθημένῳ ἐπʼ αὐτόν ἐδόθη αὐτῷ λαβεῖν τήν εἰρήνην ἐκ τῆς γῆς καί ἵνα ἀλλήλους σφάξουσιν καί ἐδόθη αὐτῷ μάχαιρα μεγάλη)

John is using the term earth to mean by association the people who live on the earth. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [to keep the people living on the earth from being peaceful]

Note 4 topic: writing-pronouns

σφάξουσιν

˱they˲_˓will_be˒_slaying

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

6:1–16:21 Three sets of seven judgments—the seals, trumpets, and bowls—form the core of Revelation. Some suggest that the judgments form a chronological sequence from beginning to end, with each set of judgments flowing from the seventh judgment of the previous set for a total of twenty-one successive judgments. More likely, the relationship is cyclical (as in other Jewish apocalyptic works; cp. Dan 2, 7, 8, 11), with each set conveying increasing intensity and adding new details of God’s judgment on those who rebel against him. In this perspective, all three cycles end at the same chronological point, with the return of Christ.

OET (OET-LV)And came_out another horse red, and to_the one sitting on it, was_given to_him to_take the peace from the earth, and in_order_that one_another they_will_be_slaying, and was_given to_him a_sword great.

OET (OET-RV)and another horse came out. It was a red horse, and the one sitting on it was given permission to withdraw peace from the earth so that people would slaughter each other, and a large sword was given to him.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.

Acknowledgements: The SR Greek text, lemmas, morphology, and VLT gloss are all thanks to the CNTR.
