In this section, Paul told the believers in Rome to stop considering some of their fellow believers as bad people. Instead they should choose not to hinder them. He told them that God does not consider any kind of food or any other kind of thing as not acceptable, but people who think that that food or thing is unacceptable, they should not eat it or use it. But those who find those things acceptable, they should not hurt the faith of those who find those things unacceptable. Righteousness, peace, and joy are the important things in God’s kingdom, not what you eat or drink. God is pleased when those who follow Jesus live in that way.
Paul encouraged the believers to do things that bring peace and encouragement for each other. They are not to hurt other believers over what they eat. They are not to cause other believers to stumble in their faith because of what they eat. Foods that might cause problems for other believers are to be eaten privately. A believer should not eat food if he has doubts about whether he should eat it or not. Everything that is not done in faith is sin.

I am convinced and fully persuaded: The word I is not repeated in English for a natural translation. In some languages the word must be repeated for a natural translation. For example:

convinced: The Greek word refers to understanding something.
fully persuaded: The Greek word here refers to being certain something is true. It implies that the person is certain based on his own thinking about it.See BDAG, sense 4, as opposed to sense (3). Paul thought about what believers should call unclean and became convinced that they should not call anything unclean. Here are other ways to translate this phrase:
am convinced (NASB)
am certain
in the Lord Jesus: Here the word in indicates that Paul’s knowledge and certainty are connected to the Lord Jesus. In particular, that knowledge and certainty came from his relationship to Jesus.
that nothing is unclean in itself.
that there is no thing that is wrong/evil in its nature.
that no thing can make us bad before God.
nothing is unclean in itself: Here the word nothing refers to food. There is no food that is unclean in itself. There is nothing in the characteristics of some foods that makes them unclean. For example:
no food, in and of itself, is wrong to eat (NLT)
unclean: Here this word refers to something which is not fitting for use in serving or worshiping God. Here are other ways to translate this word:
ritually unclean (GNT)
unacceptable (GW)
impure (REB)
But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him it is unclean.
But if someone thinks something is wrong/evil in its nature, then that thing is wrong for him.
But if some believers think something will make them bad, then it is bad for them to use it or do it.
But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him it is unclean: If a believer thinks that a kind of food would make them bad before God, he should not eat it. Here are other ways to translate this clause:

The next verse indicates that here Paul is specifically referring to unclean foods, which were foods that Jews were forbidden to eat according to the law of Moses. 14:14 no food, in and of itself, is wrong to eat (literally nothing is common in itself): The word common signals that the root concern that Paul was addressing was Jewish purity regulations. Jews described food as common if it was not clean (i.e., not kosher), thereby causing a Jew to become ritually impure (see Lev 11; cp. Mark 7:2, 5; Acts 10:14). Paul again follows the teaching of Jesus that “every kind of food is acceptable in God’s eyes” (Mark 7:19).
• for that person it is wrong: The truth that no food is wrong to eat was not easy for pious Jews to accept because they had been raised to honor God by avoiding certain foods. Paul urges those who are strong in faith not to force others to violate their consciences (cp. 1 Cor 8:1-13).
