Normally the OET discourages the reading of individual ‘verses’, but this view is only designed for doing comparisons of different translations. Click on any Bible version abbreviation down the left-hand side to see the verse in more of its context. UST The owner of the house should release the bird that is still alive and allow it to fly away outside the city toward an open field. By doing this, he will have asked Yahweh to accept the house and remove from it the impurity that the house acquired from the infectious mold. When Yahweh does this, the house will be pure once again.
BSB § Finally, he is to release the live bird into the open fields outside the city. In this way he will make atonement for the house, and it will be clean.

14:33-53 The contamination of buildings by rot or mildew made them unhealthy or even unsafe. These buildings were considered diseased and therefore not whole or clean (see study note on 11:1–15:33). The inspection and treatment process was similar to the one for mildew in clothing (13:47-59).
Note 1 topic: writing-pronouns
וְשִׁלַּ֞ח אֶת־הַצִּפֹּ֧ר הַֽחַיָּ֛ה
and,release DOM the,bird the,live
Here, he refers to the priest and not to the owner of the house that is being cleansed. It may be helpful to clarify this for your readers. Alternate translation: “And the priest shall send the live bird”
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
אֶל־פְּנֵ֣י הַשָּׂדֶ֑ה
to/towards to/towards face/surface_of the=field
See how you translated the similar expression in 14:7.
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns
וְכִפֶּ֥ר עַל־הַבַּ֖יִת
and,make_atonement on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in the,house
See how you translated the abstract noun atonement in 1:4. Here, however, make sure your translation makes it clear that the house is not being atoned for because of any sin on the part of anyone who lived in it. In this case, atonement removes impurity that is not caused by sin but by infection and uncleanness. It may be helpful to clarify this for your readers in a footnote or in the text of your translation.
